Police: Man hospitalized after being shot in head in Burien

BURIEN — A man has been hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting in Burien, Washington, authorities said.

The King County sheriff’s office has said the 35-year-old man was shot in the head 10 miles (16 kilometers) south of Seattle on Tuesday, KOMO-TV reported.

The man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, deputies said.

No further information on the man or suspected shooter was provided.

A K9 unit has responded to the scene to conduct a track. An investigation is ongoing.
