Letter: Time for a change

Our election season is upon us. Many are not happy with the direction our country is taking. They are unhappy about the failure of leadership that has exposed us to the ravages of a deadly virus. Voters want to know what our Republican representative, Jaime Herrera Beutler, has done on our behalf.

She voted to deny health care to tens of millions by repeatedly voting against the Affordable Care Act. She has voted for the current status quo, and in support of President Trump, time and again.

If this makes you happy, vote for her. If not, join me in voting for Carolyn Long.

We deserve a change for the better.
