PORTLAND — A man was arrested on suspicion of murder after someone was found dead at a Southwest Portland home Sunday.
Robert Duane McGown, 65, is accused of second-degree murder. He’s being held without bail in the Multnomah County Detention Center.
Police said they found the dead body after responding to a welfare check at a home Southwest Stephenson Court, which is near Tryon Creek State Natural Area.
The person who was found dead has not been publicly identified, and Portland police have released no details about the circumstances of their death.
Police ask anyone who has information to contact detectives.
