Does being the offspring of a first-generation Italian-German mother, born somewhere in North Dakota, and a father born in a tent in the Owyhee County wilderness of southern Idaho, and myself being born in Vancouver’s Memorial Hospital in 1949, make me a U.S. citizen? I am curious because I understand Donald Trump is somewhat of an expert in the area of citizenship requirements, and I really want my vote to count.
