Letter: Education won’t be needed

By Bill Ward, Camas

We should probably defer the discussion of distant vs. in-person learning. Education may become unnecessary. In the event that the progressive socialist element gains power in November, we will not need an education to live. We are promised that the government will take care of us. If the handouts are insufficient, we will be able to move to Mexico, enter the U.S. illegally, and claim the benefits to which we will have become entitled. Think of the schooling costs we will avoid.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
