Letter: Let them build plant in China

Why can two foreign companies that have no interest in or connection in the value of the Columbia River demand that we turn the Columbia into a toxic dump for their massive profits? Why can’t the Kalama methanol plant be built in their own country? The Chinese super-polluters don’t mind polluting another country. Look at China itself as an example. The worst thing that can happen if this plant is not built is we will have to use paper bags and wear cotton clothing.
