ESTHER SHORT — Student photographers at Skyview High School created a large-scale photography exhibit on display at Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St., through Jan. 1. The display was created by photography students in conjunction with the Inside Out Project, a global effort to transform personal identity into works of art. A team of Skyview students asked the community to submit nominations of students considered to be “Bright Lights,” or showing strong character, resilience, grit, are empathetic, caring and inclusive. The students have worked on the public installments since 2015. The photos, measuring 36-by-53 inches each, are visible from Evergreen and C streets.
