A new member has joined the La Center City Council.
The council held interviews on Dec. 2 for the seat vacated by former Councilmember Jon Stimmel, who resigned and moved out of the area. Councilmembers chose Dennis Hill from a list of four candidates.
Hill retired in 1998 after a 35-year career with Boeing, including various levels of management.
