Two brokers at Coldwell Banker Bain’s Vancouver West office were awarded top honors by the Clark County Association of Realtors. Bryant Enge received the association’s Realtor Horizon Award, which recognizes new Realtors. Ed Faulk, president of the association’s board, was named Realtor of the Year. Two lawyers and a legal organization in Vancouver were honored at the Washington State Bar Association’s annual APEX Awards, which was hosted by Vancouver-based president of the bar association board, Kyle Sciuchetti. Vancouver organization Latinx Legal Day received the Legal Innovation Award for their efforts in creating a “safe space specifically for the under-served Latinx community in Clark County,” according to a news release. Having served 650 clients since 2016, Latinx Legal Day is a collaborative effort by the Southwest Washington League of United Latin American Citizens, YWCA Clark County, the Latino Community Resource Group and Clark County Volunteer Lawyers Program. Vancouver Lawyer Jean Shaw received the Lifetime Service Award. Known for opening the first all-women law firm in Spokane, she moved to Vancouver where she practice real estate law and served as assistant general counsel to KinderCare, and also served on the board of the Humane Society for Southwest Washington. Jean McCoy, of Landerholm, P.S., received the Professionalism Award. She practices in landlord-tenant and creditors’ rights law.
