Mason Oberg was 5 of 10 from 3-point range to finish with 24 points as the Union girls basketball team locked up the No. 2 seed to the 4A bi-district tournament with 66-41 win over Skyview on Wednesday night.

Skyview was coming off an emotional come-from-behind win on Monday over Camas which gave the Storm the 4A Greater St. Helens League title.

“Yeah, I was kind of afraid we might come out flat tonight,” Skyview coach Brett Johnson said. “But give Union credit. They came out ready to play. They were hitting their jumpers, moving all over the place, playing good defense.”

Mackenzie Lewis added 15 for the Titans, and Lolo Weatherspoon added 11. With the win, Union avoided a tiebreaker game with Camas for the Nos. and 3 seeds.
