Girls basketball: Camas 53, Hazen 30

The Papermakers held Hazen scoreless in the third quarter and scored 32 points in the paint to win its 4A bi-district play-in game over Hazen at Olympia High School.

The win advances Camas (13-8) to the bi-district tournament at Rogers of Puyallup (19-1) at 7 p.m. Thursday.

Faith Bergstrom scored nine of Camas’ first 11 points and finished with 16 points. Freshman Anna Mooney added eight rebounds, eight points and four steals.
