Boys basketball: King’s Way Christian 79, Hoquiam 25

The Knights dominated offensively and defensive to win the 1A district first-round matchup.

Sam Kelly led five King’s Way players in double figures with 13 points. He also had eight rebounds.

Gioovanny Evanson had 12 points on four 3-pointers, Kobi Cason had 12 points and three steals, Gage Koenders had 10 points, and Kai Butterworth also had 10 points.

King’s Way (17-4) advances to face Seton Catholic in the semifinals on Tuesday.
