Letter: Immigrants boost economy

Thank you to The Columbian for the opinion column “Immigrant population valuable to Washington” (The Columbian, Jan. 19) describing all the good things our immigrants bring to our state’s economy. I get so sick of hearing endless complaints about immigrants and this administration encourages the complaints. It was a relief to read praise for the value of immigrants to Washington.

Also, thank you for the series about the cruel deportation of the father in the Mexican family and the hardships it has brought to him, his wife and children.
