Reading in the letters to the editor, one person said, “A brief note to Republican senators: We shall remember come November” (Our Readers’ Views, The Columbian, Feb. 15). I hope that’s true, because the do-nothing Democrats have lost all hope in the upcoming elections. Another Democrat writes that Mayor Pete is going to kick all of the Trump family’s butt and not wrinkle his pants in doing so.
Are these people living in a cave and a dream world? Don’t they realize what they have done to the people of the United States?
Does the word “division” come to mind?
Our president is far from perfect and can be crass at times, but overall has done more for this country than any president in the last 10 years. The very best part is he is not a socialist and doesn’t believe in open borders.
