Letter: Warren knows what people want

By Betty Cooper, Washougal
Published: February 21, 2020, 6:00am

Elizabeth Warren is a capitalist who believes in rules. Without rules, corporations cheat. When Warren researched why people went bankrupt and lost homes in 2008, she found that banks were cheating. Her political career began by protecting consumers.

What motivates her? Warren likes people. She likes us so much that she stands for hours taking photos with each of us. Warren spends time with us by calling to thank us for our donations. Warren will win because she has a proven record for fighting corruption, and because she spends time with us and knows what we want.

Win with Warren.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
