American Red Cross of Southwest Washington is looking for couriers to pick up and deliver lifesaving blood products. Mileage reimbursement is offered. Donor ambassadors are needed to welcome and register donors, help monitor donors after giving blood, offer refreshments, and assist medical staff as needed. Day, evening and weekend shifts are available.

Clark County Food Bank volunteer opportunities include Fresh Alliance truck drivers and support riders, Fresh Alliance food sorters, Nutrition Education program assistants and shoppers, Spanish translators, reception/clerical, and with special events. Farm and garden workers will be needed in the spring.

FISH of Vancouver has a variety of volunteer opportunities including front-room monitors, closers, clothing room assistants, food box window and warehouse helpers, janitors, lobby host/hostess, Snack Sack assistants, and food sorters. Shifts are morning or afternoons, Monday through Friday.

Furry Friends is looking for a volunteer who can lead or co-lead Furry Friends’ auction. If you have worked on auctions or large events, are organized and detail-oriented, you are a good candidate. This is the largest fundraiser Furry Friends holds each year, bringing in much-needed funds for the medical needs and housing for the cats in their care. Furry Friends is also in need of Halfway House shelter assistants to play and socialize with cats, give medications, feed/water, clean litter boxes, and other needs as they arise.

Share Backpack Program provides food-filled backpacks for children in need during the school year. Help is needed from 8:30 to 11 a.m. every Thursday to assemble and deliver the backpacks.
