Vancouver Community Concert Band seeks brass, woodwind and percussion players, active or retired. All abilities welcome; no audition required. The volunteer community band, along with its polka band, Dixieland Jazz Band and chamber ensembles, performs regularly around the area. The Portland Rose Festival and Oak Knoll Winery seek original art for the 2020 Rose Festival wine label contest. Oak Knoll will award $1,000 to the winning artist and transform their artwork into a wine label with the Rose City Label Company. Submissions will be accepted until Jan. 15. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges and will be notified by Jan. 31. For contest eligibility, rules and application go to www.surveymonkey.com/r/2020WineLabel.

Downtown Camas Association seeks artists to participate in Little Art Camas, an exhibit and sale of original, small-scale artworks created by local artists of all ages and skill levels, happening on Feb. 21 and 22 in downtown Camas. Artists can pick up panels on Friday, Jan. 3, at Journey Community Church, 304 N.E. 4th Ave, Camas, from 5 to 8 p.m. The application fee is $12, due at panel pick-up.
