Columbia Machine employees donate for holidays

HUDSON’S BAY — During the holiday season, some of the 420 employees of Columbia Machine donated items to local organizations. Following its Manufacturing Day on Oct. 4, when the company opens up for tours to families, and its School Supply Drive Event, the company collected items for Fruit Valley Elementary School. Employees donated 457 boxes of crayons, markers, colored pencils and paint. They also participated in Clark County Children’s Sharing Project, donating 75 gifts and toys. In addition, they donated 190 items of clothing to the Department of Children, Youth and Family Services. In total, it made more than 700 donations during November and December. At 3000 Columbia House Blvd., Columbia Machine is a manufacturer of concrete products equipment.
