Boys basketball: Seton Catholic 73, Castle Rock 53

Xavian Rushing scored 15 of his game-high 22 points in the first quarter and Gabe Anderson had 20 points to lead the Cougars to the 1A Trico League win at Castle Rock.

Anderson scored nine points in the third quarter and also had seven rebounds in the game. Kellen Ball added 14 points. Andy Olson had a team-high seven rebounds.

Castle Rock was led in scoring by Jonny Boissonault’s 17 points, Adam Partridge had 14, and Landon Gardner 11.
