Girls basketball: Skyview 54, Union 52

Addie McPherson broke a 47-all tie with 2 minutes, 16 seconds to play, as the Storm took the lead for good at that point to earn the road win to complete the first half of 4A GSHL play undefeated.

Union had two chances on its final possession with 6 seconds left for a possible game-winning and game-tying field goals, but both shots were off the mark.

McPherson was one of three Storm players to reach double figures. She and Skylar Groesbeck each had 10 and Kazz Parks led Skyview with 11.

Mason Oberg’s 14 points and Lolo Weatherspoon’s 12 paced the Titans.
