Girls basketball: La Center 51, Seton Catholic 49

The Wildcats started out strong and had to hold on in the second half to get the 1A Trico League win over visiting Seton Catholic.

La Center led 37-20 at the half and then scored just 14 points in the second half.

Seton’s Jasmine Morgan led all scorers with 29 points and was 11 of 18 from the free-throw line.

Mia Edwards scored 15 points and Kylee Stephens had 12 points, eight rebounds, and six assists for La Center. Alyse Webberley added seven points, eight rebounds and five blocked shots. Gianna D’Emilio had eight points and 10 rebounds.
