Boys basketball: Ridgefield 62, Washougal 47

The Spudders put together a solid defensive effort and shot the ball well on offense to pick up a key 2A Greater St. Helens League victory over second-place Washougal.

Ridgefield also took care of the ball with just 11 turnovers.

Josh Mansur led the Spudders in scoring with 18 points, and Stefan Vossenkuhl was right behind him with 16 points, and James Corey added 13.

Yanni Fassilis had 13 points for Washougal.
