Clark County advisory board seeks building experts

The Clark County manager is seeking applicants to fill five upcoming vacancies on the Clark County Development and Engineering Advisory Board. The board reviews policy and county code changes and works on process improvements within the county’s Community Development and Public Works departments.

The positions are open to public and private sector engineering, planning and building development experts. The 10-member board includes three private-sector planners or engineers, one construction contractor, one public-sector planner or engineer, one land developer, one Building Industry Association representative, one commercial or industrial development professional and two other development professionals.

The board members serve for three-year terms, in this case from April 1 to March 31, 2023. The board typically meets from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St.
