Girls basketball: King’s Way Christian 48, Seton Catholic 40

The Knights led from start to finish to earn a Trico League win.

King’s Way Christian jumped out to a 14-1 lead, but Seton Catholic closed to within 20-18 by halftime.

But the Cougars were never able to catch the Knights in the second half.

Abby Cummins led King’s Way with 15 points, and Laurel Quinn had 14 points and six rebounds. Annabelle Atwood pulled down 12 rebounds.

Jasmine Morgan had 18 points and six rebounds for Seton Catholic, and Emma Watkins added 15 points.
