Letter: Vote to protect health care

The Trump administration is intensifying its efforts to destroy the Affordable Care Act. If successful, millions of Americans would lose their health insurance and have no alternatives due to preexisting conditions.

Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler has voted to destroy the Affordable Care Act multiple times. Republicans have no viable replacement for insuring preexisting conditions. Don’t be fooled by Herrera Beutler’s claim that high-risk pools will do that. High-risk pools have not worked in the past and charge those with preexisting conditions far more than the standard premium, making coverage unaffordable.

Vote Trump and Herrera Beutler out of office in November.
