Letter: Support Harris for Legislature

By Eva Luchini, Camas
Published: July 10, 2020, 6:00am

Elect Tanisha Harris as our 17th Legislative District representative. We need thoughtful leaders capable of the real, serious, and productive work of fixing problems. Tanisha is the right person to elevate to the podium of leadership. She demonstrates a strong moral compass. She serves our community as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in foster care. She knows how to listen and consider all viewpoints. Tanisha will do the actual work of government, not make clownish speeches to appeal to extremists. Tanisha Harris will be a representative in Olympia who makes us proud.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
