Letter: Keep Rivers in state Senate

By Don Chaney, CAMAS
Published: July 21, 2020, 6:00am

Neighbors and friends, I want to voice my support for state Sen. Ann Rivers in this 2020 election. I believe this is my first letter of political endorsement, ever.

In these challenging times I feel compelled to express my confidence and respect for Sen. Rivers. She works tirelessly for her constituents. Ann is a humble, warm and genuine person who works with her head and heart connected. She is consistent and approaches issues from a positive rather than a cynical or negative perspective. She gets things done for us.

We need Sen. Ann Rivers, now, more than ever.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
