Goodwill Industries of the Columbia Willamette has announced that its store and donation site at 14300 N.E. 20th Ave. in Salmon Creek will reopen today.

The store’s hours will be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., but hours at other Goodwill retail locations will vary by area. All shoppers over the age of 5 are required to wear masks while in the stores, the company said, and children under 12 are currently not permitted in the smaller Outlet stores.

The Salmon Creek store was the last remaining Goodwill location in Clark County that was still shuttered due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Orchards, Fourth Plain, Hazel Dell, Fisher’s Landing and Battle Ground store locations have all already reopened, as well as the Goodwill Outlet in Orchards.

The company stated in a press release that it has been reopening stores incrementally based on local guidance and its own capacity to comply with mandatory health and safety rules. To date, more than 1,700 employees have been restored to the payroll, the company said.
