Letter: Major change is needed

I am outraged with current events. This administration is out-of-control inept! We are dying by the tens of thousands as our elected officials mismanage the pandemic. Finally, they are saying that this is serious after they have let it get so out of hand.

The president should be held responsible for this entire debacle. He has abused his power by deploying federal agents to squash American citizens under their boots in Portland and soon other major cities. He can find time to promote beans and wish sex offenders well, but can’t seem to focus on this nation’s problems. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler is out of touch, as is the rest of this administration. I blame her for not standing up for Washingtonians and instead toeing the party line.

Our officials are debating the stimulus payment situation while Americans face foreclosures and hunger. Major change needs to happen and I hope that we will still be here come November to vote.
