Letter: Health care unions favor Smith

During this devastating pandemic, we’ve witnessed the struggles and triumphs of our health care system. Health care workers are on the front lines, working to tirelessly care for and save lives every day. We owe so much to Clark County’s dedicated RNs, CNAs, LPNs, social workers and home care workers. The tens of thousands of health care professionals represented by the Washington State Nurses Association, Oregon Federation of Nurses and Health Professionals and SEIU Healthcare have endorsed Daniel Smith, a health care professional himself, for state Senate. A vote for Daniel Smith is a vote for someone who we can trust to protect our public health.
