Clark County Fire & Rescue has scheduled virtual town halls to discuss the potential annexation of Woodland into the district.

Town halls are set for 7 p.m. tonight, June 23, July 7 and July 21. Attendees should log into Zoom and enter the meeting ID 899-3979-4019 and password 26639.

Woodland holds a contract with district for fire and emergency services. If the majority of voters in both the current district boundaries and Woodland approve annexation on the Aug. 4 primary ballot, the city would join Ridgefield, La Center and surrounding areas under a permanent agreement.
