BATTLE GROUND — Firm Foundation Christian School held a drive-thru parade for its 17 graduating seniors May 15, in lieu of a typical in-person commencement, which was canceled due to COVID-19. The school will also hold a virtual graduation event June 26. “The weather was beautiful. All 17 graduates and most of their parents attended the cap and gown pickup drive-through celebration,” said Katy Horn, marketing director of the school. “It was a festive time, even from a distance, of school teachers and staff cheering — celebratory music and decorations, including a fancy balloon arch, photos and a sanitarily delivered cap and gown.”
