CENTRAL VANCOUVER — Members from the Evergreen Education Association recently donated to local community organizations in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. So far, it has donated $1,500 to provide meals to workers at Providence and PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center; $6,500 to Clark Public Utilities to assist families with bills; $9,000 to Share Fromhold Service Center for food and housing; and $18,600 to Clark County Food Bank, according to a news release from the association. The group encourages members to consider donating to frontline community groups so they can continue to provide uninterrupted support to families.
