Police activity briefly stops southbound I-205 traffic in Vancouver

Officers responding to reports of a suicidal subject closed down southbound lanes of Interstate 205 south of Mill Plain Boulevard this morning.

Dispatch reports show the incident began at about 6:45 a.m. on the Southeast 10th Street overpass.

The Washington Department of Transportation reported that three lanes of the freeway were closed for the police activity.

The scene was cleared and the freeway opened shortly after 7 a.m., and traffic cameras were showing no back up as of 7:25 a.m.
