Clark County Public Health confirmed two more COVID-19 cases Friday morning.
The county now has had six confirmed cases, according to a news release; three have died.
Of the new cases, one is a woman in her 60s, who had no known contact with a confirmed case. The other is a man in his 70s, who had no known contact with a confirmed case. Both people are quarantined and recovering at their homes.
Public Health is identifying the close contacts of these two new cases and will instruct them to isolate for 14 days after their last contact with a confirmed case.
Public Health has started to release the number of negative tests on its coronavirus webpage now. As of press time Friday, there were 189 negative tests from Clark County. Counties outside of the Puget Sound area have struggled with procuring necessary testing supplies and equipment, which has led to lower numbers of confirmed tests outside of King, Snohomish and Pierce counties.
