Letter: Herrera Beutler does good work

By Julie Hess, Ridgefield

I’m thankful for congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, as she works to ease the toll this coronavirus crisis is taking on Washington state, but especially for our health care workers. Many of these health care workers also have families to go home to and don’t want to put them at risk of infection.

Jaime recently sent a letter to U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar, urging him to increase the supply of personal protective equipment for doctors, nurses, firefighters, and anyone else who is on the front lines. I appreciate her recognizing the needs of those who are treating patients suffering from this virus. Please keep up the good work, Jaime.
