LINCOLN — A group of about a dozen Lincoln neighbors on Northwest 40th and 41st streets decided to gather in the alley that connects them for a 5 p.m. “alley chat” on Sunday as a way to still interact with one another while obeying social distancing orders. Attendees were instructed to “bring your own beer or glass of wine and your own chair — placed 6 feet apart” — plus dogs. Conversation covered a wide range of mutual interests and lasted until 6:30 p.m. The group hopes to have more alley chats in the future, weather permitting.
