Letter: Councilor misses the mark

Just read Gary Medvigy’s op-ed “Local input on order needed” (The Columbian, April 28).

In pondering his words, I wonder which part of his swimming pool has the “Pee Here” sign. Does he not realize that the reason Clark County does not have the gut-wrenching numbers of our northern neighbors is that these measures work? Extrapolating from the figures reported daily it doesn’t take a genius to know that in Clark County (population 488,000) thousands of souls may be carrying around the virus.

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
