FISHER’S LANDING EAST — A local branch of Country Financial insurance company, in partnership with Zakwell Inc., owners of Gather and Feast Farms in La Center, and Crave PDX, provided dinner to nursing staff at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, according to a news release.

The effort is part of the franchise’s Better Together initiative to raise funds and support local nonprofit organizations and first responders.

“Our agency is proud to be able to support our front-line heroes — the nurses and staff of PeaceHealth as they protect our families and friends during this pandemic. By providing meals, it is a small gesture to let you all know we appreciate your efforts and we thank you,” Financial Representative Edward Hamilton said in an email.
