FELIDA — Chinook Elementary School staff participated in a parade within its school boundary in April to entertain students as they stay home during the pandemic.

The parade route, starting at Whipple Creek Place, traveled down Northwest 150th Way and then north on Northwest Second Avenue.

Students waved at teachers in more than 50 vehicles. Led by a Clark County District 6 fire engine, cars had painted signs that read “We miss you” and “Stay safe, stay home.”
