Pink Lemonade Project has been awarded two grants to support its Virtually Pink and Pink Practicalities programs.

Virtually Pink is an all-virtual programming format in response to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Pink Practicalities is the nonprofit’s financial aid and assistance program, which helps people in breast cancer treatment and recovery who are experiencing financial hardship.

A grant from The Firstenburg Foundation will be directed to both Virtually Pink and the Pink Practicalities. Pink Lemonade will consider requests for help covering health insurance premiums or co-pays, home technology and/or other urgent needs. Pink Lemonade did not disclose the size of that grant.

Another grant from the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington awarded $25,000 that will be directed to Pink Practicalities. This grant will be directed to Clark County residents impacted by COVID-19, and in need of financial aid. The grant was created through a rapid-response grant from the SW Washington COVID-19 Response Fund, a pooled emergency fund managed by CFSWW.
