Letter: Trump isn’t leading

President Trump:

Why aren’t you modeling best practices by wearing a mask when all the health experts say it is a key to containing the spread of COVID-19?

Why are you attacking journalists when they are the only ones who protect us from your malicious and dangerous lies daily?

Why are you playing golf when the virus death toll just topped 100,000 Americans?

Why are you so focused on yourself when Americans want empathy and support for their sorrow, grief and fear?

Why are you constantly telling governors you’ll override their actions when they are the ones doing the heavy lifting and are on the front lines in a fight you’ve chosen to abandon?

Why do you smear vote-by-mail as fraudulent when in fact it is working with zero fraud in states like ours? Is it because preventing Americans from voting is the only way you can win?

Why are you threatening to “shut down” social media when you have no authority or public support to do this?

Why, Mr. President, aren’t you leading?
