Letter: Limited government doesn’t add up

I have questions: lots of them! You ignore the law, your preferred management style is chaos/disorder, so what do you really mean when saying “Law and Order”? Why do you prefer lies over truth? What have the Boys done to be proud of? Do Patriots say their prayers at night before a rally? Why do you believe that elitists can only be found on the left side of the political spectrum? You don’t like our current government, but why would you want an authoritarian dictator? Why are the first few amendments and any references to liberty more important than all the rest of the Constitution?

My final question (I promise!): This government’s response to the pandemic has been limited, not by law but by incompetence. A truly limited government, that is often talked about as a Utopian future, would not have provided either stimulus checks, small business and other loans, or extended unemployment benefits. This Utopian government would also not have Social Security or Medicare, and I am not even sure about interstate highways. All governments, like people, have flaws so why will this be so much better for the people of the U.S. than the government we have now?
