Clark College art students receive scholarships

CENTRAL PARK — The Clark College Art Department announced its 2020-2021 Art Scholarship Award recipients. A total of $12,000 from Clark College Foundation Scholarship funds was awarded to 13 students. Students submitted portfolios in the annual scholarship juried event, showcasing six pieces of work. Those students were: Emmeline Campen, Joymae Capps, Larissa Baldwin-Dillon, Machig Dolma, Jodi Evans, Robin Golden, Ariel Hricziscse, Gwendolyn Kangas, Kurt Olstead, Kyle Pettyjohn, Lauren Puyleart, Kaitlyn Sekely and Kelsi Waible. “We are pleased to be able to offer so many students financial scholarships for furthering their artistic endeavors,” Art Department Head Grant Hottle said in a news release. “We are fortunate to have funds at the Foundation that support artists and the creation of art.” Follow the Clark College Art Department on Facebook (Clark College Art); Instagram (clarkcollegeart) or on their website: www.clark.edu/academics/programs/creative-and-communication-arts/fine-arts.
