Letter: Pursue our right to health

It would be very interesting to understand if the rise in COVID-19 cases is related to philosophical beliefs or religious beliefs regarding this matter. Some people, even after 10 months of dealing with this virus, still don’t want to believe it’s real. Most of us are intelligent and can make good decisions based on factual information. However when facts are distorted or outright ridiculed, pitting one group against another for political gain, we are all in trouble. Our president was just defeated because of this.

When will we all realize addressing COVID has nothing to do with “our rights” but everything to do with securing our health and economic vitality?

We encourage readers to express their views about public issues. Letters to the editor are subject to editing for brevity and clarity. Limit letters to 200 words (100 words if endorsing or opposing a political candidate or ballot measure) and allow 30 days between submissions. Send Us a Letter
