Letter: Let’s all agree on a name

We have a scenic road on the west side of town that travels between Fourth Plain in Vancouver all the way out to Ridgefield. Instead of taking I-5, it is the best alternate for travel, plus it is relaxing with beautiful views as it winds it way through our countryside. But try to give directions to someone new to the area and you may have to give them several or even all of the nine different names it has over its relatively short 14-mile journey. Ridiculous, right? The county, Vancouver and Ridgefield would all probably be in favor of a simple change. I have a suggestion: let’s give this enlightening thoroughfare one name, one that we would all be proud of and one that would lend credence to the world we now live in. For starters, here are five to consider: BLM Boulevard, Trump Turnpike, Herrera Highway, Inslee Avenue or Don Benton Parkway.
