Clark County Thanksgiving holiday closures

What’s open and what’s closed for Thanksgiving:

• MAIL: No home delivery today except Express Mail. Post offices closed. The postal unit at Shell, 1605 N.W. Sixth Ave., Camas, is open 5 a.m. to 2 a.m. every day of the year. Post offices open Friday; mail delivered.

• GARBAGE: Today’s trash and recyclables in Vancouver and most of Clark County will be picked up Friday; Friday’s trash and recyclables will be collected Saturday. In Camas, today’s trash and recyclables will be picked up Monday with Monday’s regular collections, and Friday’s trash and recyclables will be picked up with Tuesday’s collections.

• PUBLIC SCHOOLS: No classes today or Friday.

• COLLEGES: No classes at Washington State University Vancouver and Clark College today or Friday.

• GOVERNMENT: City, county and state offices closed today and Friday. Federal offices closed today, open Friday.

• PARKING METERS: On-street parking in Vancouver is free today and Friday.

• LIBRARIES: Fort Vancouver Regional Library and Camas Public Library closed for curbside pickup today and Friday. Some online services available.

• BUSES: C-Tran and TriMet follow Sunday schedules today, and provide regular service Friday. No service for WES and lines which do not run Sundays.

• DRIVER’S LICENSING: Offices closed today and Friday.

• VEHICLE LICENSING: Offices closed today and Friday.

• CLARK PUBLIC UTILITIES: Offices closed today, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. For outages or emergencies, call 360-992-3000.

• ZOO: Oregon Zoo in Portland is closed for regular admission but open for the ZooLights drive-through experience.

• BANKS: Closed today, open Friday.

• FINANCIAL MARKETS: New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and other markets are closed today. Markets close early Friday, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time.

• MARSHALL COMMUNITY CENTER: Closed.

• FIRSTENBURG COMMUNITY CENTER: Closed.

• CLARK COUNTY HISTORICAL MUSEUM: Closed.

• VANCOUVER MALL: Closed.

• THE COLUMBIAN: Offices closed. Circulation customer service, 360-694-2312, is available 6:30 to 11 a.m. today and 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
