I recently watched a video at KarenBowerman.com about homelessness in Clark County. Karen is a candidate for the Clark County Council in District 3. What really impressed me was Karen’s common-sense approach to this continuing problem.
She spoke about being compassionate when working with families torn apart by circumstances beyond their control but using tough intervention when dealing with theft, substance abuse, spousal abuse and the vandalizing of our beautiful county. She didn’t simplify this into a one-size-fits-all solution and she understands the complexities involved and that protecting citizens and their property is a high priority.
Bowerman has my vote.
