Letter: Support Referendum 90

By Ronald Morrison, Vancouver
Published: October 10, 2020, 6:00am

Referendum 90, on the Nov. 3 ballot, would provide for proper sexual health education in Washington public schools. Parents should see this as a real asset — for them. Many parents lack a model for rightly knowing when, what and how to talk about sexual health. By taking advantage of the orientation to the sex-ed curriculum schools would regularly offer them, parents would have a heads-up on the age-appropriate information their children would be receiving and could use this in answering questions and in their parent-child conversations. Vote “Yes” on R-90.
