FISH Westside Food Pantry of Vancouver seeks volunteers for all positions and shifts at the food pantry. Shifts run from 9 a.m. to noon or noon to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Flexible-hour options are also available to accommodate individual schedules. Volunteers prepackage food boxes and fresh produce packets in our safe, secure warehouse or perform administrative processing (sign in) for our food pantry clients. Interested parties may contact Dori Miller at 360-566-3243. Masks are required and will be provided if necessary.

North Clark County Historical Museum in Amboy is always looking for volunteers. The museum is currently open the second and fourth Saturday of the month, starting Oct. 10. Those interested in volunteering can call 360-247-5800; leave a message to receive a return call.

Share asks for donations of new underwear, diapers, and socks. All sizes of underwear are needed, from a range of sizes to men’s, women’s, teens and children’s. New diapers sizes 5 and 6 plus pull-ups, as well as athletic-style socks in all sizes, are also needed. Donations can be brought to the Share Fromhold Service Center by appointment. Volunteers can also host a “Seats & Feets” drive! Organize a socially distant drive at the office, church or in the neighborhood. Contact Kelly Baumann at kbaumann@sharevancouver.org.

Vancouver Police NOW (Neighbors On Watch) seeks volunteers to join the Senior Wellness Check Program. Volunteers will call on elderly or homebound individuals at pre-arranged times to ensure that people stay safe while isolating during the pandemic. All volunteers will be background checked and attend an extensive training program. Applications can be requested from the Sheriff’s Office Outreach Unit at 564-397-3380 or email sheriffcommunityoutreach@clark.wa.gov.
